Oregon Garden

The Oregon Garden is a popular destination located in Silverton, Oregon.  More than 20 specialty gardens grace the Oregon Garden grounds.  Located on 80 acres, the Oregon Garden is home to a 400-year-old Signature Oak and the Gordon House.  This is the only house in Oregon designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

Beautiful waterfalls, mesmerizing fountains and other water features abound.  The A-mazing Water Garden at the Oregon Garden is a lovely place to view beautiful aquatic plants.  At the grand entrance, a water wall extending 80 feet helps define why this specialty garden is called amazing.  Other specialty gardens include the Wetlands Garden, the Conifer Garden, the Northwest Garden and the Silverton Market Garden.

For the rose enthusiast, the Oregon Garden has more than 40 varieties of roses on display.  Some of the newer additions to the Oregon Garden are the Lewis & Clark Plant Collection Garden and the Sensory Garden.  The Pet Friendly Garden is designed to educate pet owners on what plants are acceptable around pets and which ones may be toxic.

When visiting the Oregon Garden, plan to stay at the Andrea Bed and Breakfast.  Located in the west hills of Salem, the Andrea Bed and Breakfast is nestled on 6-1/2 acres with gardens and forested landscape to explore.  The modern art deco architecture is designed to bring the “outside in and the inside out” to maximize peaceful relaxation.  The innkeeper is also a trained Cordon Bleu chef who will make your stay warm and relaxing.  What a wonderful way to start your day before heading over to the Oregon Garden!
